Director and 4 Year Old Teacher- Mrs. Marisa Donnelly
Mrs. Donnelly graduated York College with an elementary education degree and elementary teaching certification. She has nine credits toward her master’s degree in early literacy through Wilkes University and additional Director credits. She taught at Eastern York elementary schools as a long term substitute in kindergarten, third, and fourth grade. Marisa has taught preschool for thirteen years at the 3 and 4 year old level. She is the mother of two very active boys, enjoys reading, and spending time with her family at the beach. She has won two teaching awards including the York Area Association for the Education of Young Children. This is her ninth year as the Teaching Director of Faith United Preschool.
4 Year Old Assistant-Mrs. Lynne Weaver
Mrs. Weaver has been with Faith United Preschool since the opening nine years ago. She has eight years of classroom assistant and primary learning support experience with Red Lion School District and eleven years preschool experience. Mrs. Weaver has two grown daughters, and three energetic grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, antiquing, and chalk painting furniture, as well as attending flea markets and spending time with her husband, Tim. She loves reading to the students daily and giving them extra cuddles when needed.

4 Year Old Assistant- Mrs. Candice McClellan
Mrs. McClellan has many years experience working with children and this will be her seventh year assisting on the 4s classroom. She dedicated her time to raising her boys, and being with her loving husband, JD and is currently savoring every moment with her grandbaby. She is a co-founder of The Find York; organizing and supporting community makers market events throughout York county. She loves traveling the country, relaxing at the beach, and taking care of her rowdy pup, Rosie. Mrs. McClellan graduated from York Catholic and spends time volunteering for numerous organizations. Her bright smile and kindness for the students foster a love for preschool for every child.

3 day- 3 Year Old Assistant- Mrs. Amy Bransby Hake
Mrs. Amy Hake has many years experience working with children and is returning for year four at Faith United. She dedicated her time to raising her children, and being with her loving husband, Javan. She has worked in numerous settings with children including Luthercare, and in the primary grades of our local school district. Mrs. Hake graduated from Donegal and has a nursing background. She loves watching her son play football, traveling, and ALL things Disney. Her structure and calmness brings a relaxing vibe in our learning environment.
2 Year Old Teacher – Mrs. Ashley Litz
Mrs. Litz has been with Faith Preschool since its opening nine years ago and will be teaching both 2 year old classes this school year. She has many years experience working with Mrs. LeBlanc in the 2 year old classroom. Mrs. Litz dedicates her time to her loving husband, Michael, and was a stay at home mom caring for her young son and daughter, both Faith United Preschool graduates. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering in her children’s classrooms, exercising, traveling, making creative crafts, and taking photos. Mrs. Litz graduated from Central York School District and York Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Business Administration/Sales Marketing. Her bright, caring personality makes our 2 year olds first school experience extraordinary.
2 Year Old Assistant- Mrs. Nicole Brennan
Mrs. Brennan is returning for year two as Mrs. Litz’s 2 year old assistant. She is Mommy to three growing boys, one who is a Faith student. She has preschool experience, an event planning background, and volunteers for her son’s PTO. She loves teaching Junior Achievement, gardening, playing with her boys, and puzzling quietly in her free time. She graduated from Palmetto High School and has event planning/consulting diplomas from Ashworth College. Mrs. Brennan’s patient and loving personality with her organizing skills is a great addition to our 2s classroom.
Mrs. Litz and Mrs. Brennan run our extended Let’s Do Lunch program Tuesday and Wednesday for our littles.
Mrs. Kathy LeBlanc
Mrs. Kathy LeBlanc has been a huge part of the opening of Faith United Preschool nine years ago. She has been our 2 and 3-year-old teacher at Faith United Preschool for seven years. She has 30+ years of experience teaching 2, 3, and 4 year old students. Mrs. LeBlanc has an undergraduate degree from Lyndon (now Northern Vermont University) with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in recreation (youth emphasis) and double minor in elementary education and elementary physical education. She has additional training in Early Child Education. Mrs. LeBlanc enjoys being with her children, her 5 grandchildren, golfing, and traveling. Her themed topics foster creativity through art projects, body movement, music, and pretend play while introducing concepts through exploration.
Substitutes:
Mrs. Chris Grim
Mrs. Grim has been substituting at Faith since our opening seven years ago. She loves spending time with her husband, reading on the beach, and watching her grandchildren play sports. She is a registered nurse and had worked at York Hospital for years.
Mrs. Kristina Robison
Mrs. Robison has worked in the preschool world for over 10 years. She has a teaching degree from Millersville University and loves being with children. She has two grown college graduates, and can’t wait to help out in the classroom serving up learning, love, and laughter with our students.
All staff is CPR/First Aid/AED certified and has PA clearances.
