After dedicating many years of her life to the education of preschool and high school students, long time preschool assistant Gladys Lehman is retiring.
Mrs. Lehman assisted for 7 years with Mrs. Donnelly and has worked at numerous local preschools including Faith United Preschool and Kids Korner.
Gladys will be greatly missed. Her love for children and the special and creative ways she makes learning fun for them is very evident. Plus she always adds some humor to our day. She also has the ability to make each child feel special and important.
Mrs. Lehman worked hard to make learning as fun as possible for all of her students. She incorporated her love of physical movement into many of her classroom activities and hoped to instill a love learning in her young students. One of her favorite parts of being a teacher was seeing her students faces light up when they understood a new concept and giving them a BIG HUG every morning.
Gladys enjoys meeting with friends, attending Bible study, bowling, and watching her grandsons play ball.
Mrs. Lehman’s dedication and love for her job has left a lasting impact on coworkers and students alike.
Gladys is such a joy to be around. She always has a smile on her face. Gladys is always a team player and willing to lend a helping hand. She was a vital person in our preschool and will be greatly missed. She’s a person you can laugh with and talk to about anything. She’s always there for you to bounce ideas off of or just when you need someone to talk to.
The staff at Faith United Preschool are really proud of everything she has accomplished over her years. We are proud to call her a co worker and friend. Her face will still be seen at Faith United Preschool giving hugs and helping out with special activities. THANK YOU for all your hard work, dedication, and love! Enjoy your Retirement!
